Much to my surprise, my love affair with infrared has continued throughout the winter. Popular opinion online seems to be that spring and summer are the best times for infrared. I didn’t get my infrared camera converted until the end of last winter, so this is the first real chance I’ve had in using it during the season but I am finding winter just as rewarding as other seasons.
Over the weekend the UK was hit by Storm Dennis. By Sunday afternoon the rain was easing off with a patch of blue sky rapidly approaching from the west. The prospect of dark storm clouds and sunlight was all the excuse I needed to grab my infrared camera and head out for a walk.
