Although not in infrared, I continued with my monochrome theme this week when I visited Clevedon on a wet overcast but tranquil evening.
I spent all my time exploring compositions around the Marine Lake which sits on the edge of the Severn Estuary. Apart from a couple of brave swimmers who turned up for a few lengths, I had the place to myself. When there is little or no wind the hard lines of the concrete around the lake against the smooth soft water makes for some lovely images. I was especially drawn to the path through the middle of the lake which appears to the eye to be floating on the water. With my favourite pier in the distance, what is there not to like?
I didn't manage all my planned compositions as the light faded away too quickly so I am planning to return again very soon.
