Digital Image Formats |

All digital images in our on-line library are delivered as 8-bit JPEG format files. After scanning and post processing, all our images are archived as TIFF files to retain the maximum image quality. All JPEG files in our library are derived from these master TIFF files and saved at maximum quality, ie minimum compression. These files are indistinguishable from the original TIFF files so you can be sure of the best possible image quality. However, we do understand some buyers require TIFF files for their projects and 8-bit TIFF files are available on request. TIFF files can be delivered direct to your FTP server, downloaded from our library or delivered on CD/DVD. Please contact us with your requirements. Please note that we cannot guarantee immediate availability of TIFF files and delivery may take a few days.
