What could be better than travelling, discovering new locations, watching the light, waiting for that perfect moment and finally seeing the results spread out on a lightbox when I return back to base? Well, being able to share these experiences with others that might be interested in reading them for one. Writing about the making of a favourite picture is also a useful way of reviewing how I work in the field and helps me focus on improving my next picture. It's also great fun and gives me an excuse to spend a little time at home in familiar surroundings without feeling guilty! |
